INSTALLATION: Pick a location free from shade and cover, then dig a hole in the ground to place the device. Insert the stake into the ground, making sure the top is above the surface roughly 1 or 2 inches. Place soil around the unit to secure it in the earth. Press the switch "ON/OFF". It vibrates and emits sounds every 20 seconds after installation.

IMPORTANT!! Do not dig into the ground until you have checked for underground cables or wires. Failure to do so is very dangerous and could result in personal injury.

NOTE: Check the ground before installing the device, as frozen or waterlogged ground is not recommended. DO NOT use a hammer or excessive force when installing. Choose a location that gets plenty of sunlight for full charging of the batteries and better results. This product is rain-proof but must NOT be soaked in rain. In case of rain soaking or flooding, remove the repellent until the rain recedes. It must be used CONTINUOUSLY for 7-14 days before ground rodents start to move away from the area.
